This Unchartered Tongue

This unchartered tongue carries words I can no longer pronounce, or ones I must invent on the spot.
It is spoken in the cracks on the map of my mother tongue.
It stutters, hesitates, invents, mimics, borrows, and breaks.
It is not yet recorded in my body - unregistered.
It manifests in a voice that knows but cannot speak.

What does it mean to live in a language that feels both intimate and alien? What if the only way to speak familiarly is to speak incompletely? This unchartered tongue does not seek fluency—it seeks errors, noise, fragments, and rupture.

literal translation on Chinese title:母 (mother) 知 (knows)
