SODA Research Presentations 2016

In the two years of the SODA Master's programme, students are asked to respond to questions around art as knowledge production through their work and practice. How can art practice be conceived as knowledge, and how is the acquisition of this knowledge demonstrated and accounted for as academic discourse? What are the means by which learning processes and knowledge can be made visible, apart from direct contact with the work itself? What questions, investigations, experiments, critiques and ways of thinking, not to mention the infinite decision-making mechanisms, go into and performance production?

This 3rd semester research presentation gathers the results of SODA's final year 2017, giving an insight into the projected goals of the students* and the final master's theses in their fourth and final semester.
