Hier finden Sie ein Archiv aller veranstalteten Lehrangebote des Crip | Choreo | Care -Teams am HZT unter der Professur von Claire Cunningham und Team, seit Sommersemester 2024.
The courses in the field of Choreography, Dance, and Disability Arts combine artistic practice, choreographic research, and critical reflection. The focus is on questions of accessibility, care, the aesthetics of access, and the diverse experiences of bodies, perception, and movement.
Students gain insights into contemporary disability arts, crip theory, and inclusive artistic practices. Symposia, discussion forums, and seminars create spaces for exchange with international artists, researchers, and activists, opening up new perspectives on choreography, dance, and social participation.
The program is complemented by individual mentoring opportunities focused on artistic practice, production development, accessibility, and professional self-organization. Topics such as access riders, creative approaches, sustainable working methods, and the design of inclusive artistic processes are taught in a practical manner. The courses promote both the development of students’ own artistic projects and a deeper understanding of the political, social, and aesthetic dimensions of disability, chronical illness and neurodiversity within performing arts.
Through various analog, digital, and hybrid formats, learning and working spaces are created that explicitly incorporate diversity, mutual support, and diverse access needs. In this way, choreography is experienced as a practice shaped and enriched by diverse bodies, experiences, and forms of knowledge.
