Susanne Adam

Susanne Adams successfully graduated from the European University Viadrina with a diploma in cultural studies in 2001, followed by studies in musicology at the Technical University of Berlin. At the same time as the reopening of the Philharmonie Essen in 2004, she began working in the artistic operations office and in 2008 moved to the project company "Kulturhauptstadt Europa 2010 - Essen für das Ruhrgebiet" where she coordinated and organized various major projects as project manager. She returned to the Theater und Philharmonie Essen GmbH as assistant to the artistic director at the Aalto-Theater and the Philharmonie Essen before moving to Konzertdirektion Hörtnagel GmbH in Berlin as artist manager in 2014 and to the ATRIUM youth art school in the Reinickendorf district as project manager and deputy head of administration in 2018. Since January 2024, Susanne Adam has been working as a project coordinator in the "Choreography, Dance and Disability Arts" department of Claire Cunningham's Einstein Professorship at HZT Berlin.
