Pasos de Patio

Pasos de Patio (AT) is a duet that explores the fictionality of nostalgia in our memory as a form of guilty pleasure and choreographic tool. Inspired by the image of the patio, a semi-public space, different dance languages dwell and morph into each other. A diluted after party appears simultaneously with a landscape of emotions and images which questions topics of authorship and purity. Dance is streched in form and time becoming a fabulation which is embodied through the distillation of andean folkloric dance caporales, the sound of neo-cumbia, set choreography and other forms of readymades.

"Pasos de Patio" becomes the container for multi temporality, for (un)wanted entanglements, for being emotional and being present.
