Pasos de Patio

Pasos de Patio (AT) is a duet that explores the fictionality of nostalgia in our memory as a form of "guilty pleasure" and as choreographic tool. Inspired by the image of the "patio," a semi-public space, different dance languages dwell and morph into one another. A diluted after-party appears simultaneously with a landscape of emotions and images which question topics of authorship and purity. Dance is stretched in form and time, becoming a fabulation embodied through the distillation of andean folkloric dance, neo-cumbia, and other forms of readymades.

Pasos de Patio" is a container for multitemporality, for (un)wanted entanglements, for emotionality and for being present.
