Juana del Mar
Holding, A Flor de Piel

Is there a “common ground" where we can meet? Is it the breathing body or other vital bodily processes that tie us to the continuous flow of exchange with other beings and social life? This piece creates a space to encounter one another. As the gap between bodies narrows, we breathe the same air, heartbeats synchronize, listening expands, and the presence of the other is deeply felt within the skin. Do borders blur or intensify? This encounter unfolds tension, attention, and intention in the body, navigating both comfort and discomfort. What emerges from this encounter?
Juana del Mar is from Bogotá, Colombia. Her practice is rooted in dance and performance, collaborating with artist from diverse backgrounds to create transdisciplinary projects. She explores the body as both a singular experience and a shared territory where (dis)encounters unfold.
Free Admission Tickets can be booked 10 days prior the first performance.
