Dany Beyer

Study Programme Coordinator | BA Dance, Context, Choreography

Dany Beyer studied Theatre and Dance Studies as well as North and Latin American Studies (M.A. equivalent) at Freie Universität Berlin and subsequently earned a Master’s degree in Adult Education from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Her professional focus lies in the guidance of career transitions, program and curriculum development, as well as the digitalization of education and the application of artificial intelligence in learning contexts. Her master’s thesis, “Generative AI in Digital Learning Design,” will soon be published in the Adult Education Report of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

Professionally, she worked as Coordinator of the International Research Training Group “InterArt” at Freie Universität Berlin and later, within the framework of Germany’s Excellence Initiative at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, supported early-career researchers during transitional phases of their academic careers. She then coordinated the Master’s program in Cultural Journalism at the Berlin Career College of the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK Berlin). At the German Dance Association (Dachverband Tanz Deutschland), she developed and implemented a nationwide qualification program for emerging dance professionals and created the digital knowledge platform “Emerging Dance Artists.”

Since 2025, she has been coordinating the Bachelor’s degree program “Dance, Context, Choreography” at the Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin (HZT Berlin). Alongside her academic and administrative work, she has been working as a freelance Movement Coach since 2014, teaching among others BODYART®, Aerial Yoga, and Pilates.
