Dr. Christiane Berger

MA Choreography (maC)

Dr. Christiane Berger studied philosophy and theatre studies in Tübingen, Gießen and Berlin and received her doctorate in theatre studies from the Free University of Berlin. Her dissertation "Körper denken in Bewegung. Zur Wahrnehmung tänzerischen Sinns by William Forsythe and Saburo Teshigawara" was published in 2006 by transcript-Verlag. As a choreographer, dramaturge and production assistant, she has worked on numerous theatre and dance productions. After working on the concept of the course, she joined the team of lecturers for the Master's programme "Choreography" in October 2008.
