The Impossible Forest is a garden installation located in the Uferstudios’ courtyard. It is also a community garden that I am using as a studio to find ways of interacting with an ensemble of entities living there. Deep listening and being open and receptive are necessary conditions to collaborate with plants; sharing breath, taking care and giving voice are practices that I follow. This research presentation will explore the possibilities of composing a ceremony and connecting with the plant’s world through sound, dance, and meditation. How to tune in and respond to the dramaturgy of this complex living system?
