Spirited Dancing

“My mom says that I think too much; choreographers say this too. I also think that I sometimes think too much, especially about spirits. I think that’s why I became a dancer, to ground myself in physical experience. I think sensual experience is more real than (over)thinking, which can be like watching TV or fearing ghosts.” The slogan for this dancing is: “Think less. Feel more.” Its aim: to discern between a fantasy or projection, a wish, a desire… and then to make decisions responding to the physical situation, the moment.  This dancing wants to achieve its highest potential, be full of energy, so as to be a channel between the really physically real and the really spiritually real.
