Prof. Nik Haffner studied art history at Giessen University and dance at the Australian Ballet School in Melbourne. In 1994 he joined Ballet Frankfurt. In the past few years he has worked increasingly in film and multimedia and has created video installations for several of William Forsythe's pieces. Since contributing to the CD-ROM "Improvisation Technologies", he has also worked regularly with the ZKM, Centre for Art and Media Technology in Karlsruhe. Now a freelance dancer and choreographer, he is making works for theatre, film and exhibitions. He is working for Laban Centre London, P.A.R.T.S. Brüssel and Ohio State University as guest lecturer. Sabine Trautwein: Head of Administration
Sabine Trautwein studied German literature, art history and political science in Trier and at the Freie Universität Berlin. She freelanced as a research assistant and event organiser in the field “information society/ new technologies” for the Lucent-Alcatel-Stiftung, the Berlin Stiftungsverbundkolleg (1989-2004) and various conferences on smartcard technology (1994-1998). Since 1996 she has been working in the administration and organisation of numerous projects in the area of culture and cultural education; since 1998 as the project director of ESF-supported projects. Since 2006 Sabine Trautwein has been responsible for the administration of the Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin, since June 2013 she is the administration manager of the Centre.

Eva-Maria Hoerster: Project Coordinator

Eva-Maria Hoerster studied art history and German literature and was a member of the artistic direction of the Kassel International Dance Festival. From 1995-2006 she worked as dramaturge, production manager, curator and producer at the Tanzfabrik Berlin; in December 2003 she became the artistic director of Tanzfabrik Berlin. She was involved in the development of the teaching project „Choreographische Werkstätten“ and the lecture performance series „Tanz & Text”. As a partner of the EU network „apap“, she curated the interdisciplinary programme „Berliner Ermittlungen“ in 2006. From 1997-2000, she was the dramaturge and manager of the Tanzcompagnie Rubato. In 2003 she was responsible for the production management and public relations of Move Berlim – Festival of Contemporary Brazilian Dance. As a performer she worked in the artists’ collective B.D.C./Thomas Plischke (in „ReSORT“, 2001). She was co-initiator and co-curator of the „Tanznacht Berlin/Tanz made in Berlin (2000-2004). Maximilian Stelzl: Technical Director
Maximilian Stelzl was born in 1962 in Kötzting. While studying for his degree at the TFH Berlin, he was the technical director of the Tanzfabrik Berlin. From 1994-96 he toured with Sasha Waltz & Guests, among others. From 1996-2008 he was the technical director of the Podewil, Berlin. Since then he has been working as a technical director, tour technician and lighting technician for the Move Berlim and Tanz im August festivals, the choreographers Mette Ingvartsen and Toula Limnaios as well as the Oper Dynamo West and Schauplatz International ensembles. In addition, he also belongs to the Uferstudios planning team in Berlin. Since 2010 he is technical director at the HZT Berlin.
